My Digital Ecological Library

Context

The My Digital Ecological Library project is one of the initiatives supported by Erasmus+, a European Union program aimed at promoting education, training, youth, and sport. This educational project is coordinated by a consortium of European partners—France, Spain, Lithuania, Romania, Belgium, and Turkey—with the goal of raising awareness of environmental issues and providing innovative digital educational resources. The stakeholders are schools and two associations, including HSF, which are collaborating to create an educational digital library focused on ecology and environmental preservation.

Hydraulique Sans Frontières action

The project, launched in 2023, began with the development of a new environmental education program, structured as a learning sequence with increasingly complex themes, from middle school (6th grade) to high school (12th grade). Currently, educational materials are being developed for each theme, such as water, air, pollution, ecosystems, species protection, etc. To test these resources, students from partner organizations in France, Lithuania, Romania, Turkey, and Spain traveled to Spain in late September 2024. Student feedback helped refine the educational content. Hydraulique Sans Frontières (Hydraulics Without Borders), which has expertise in water and its treatment, addresses all aspects of this field.
